Artist statement
I paint because I love to paint, I paint because I like to do a job properly, I paint because it's my way of getting to know reality, I paint to gain love, I paint to gain recognition, I paint to be in the moment, I paint because there is nothing else I rather do, I paint because it challenges me, I paint because it makes me feel in control. I paint because it is hard, I paint because it is meaningful to me, I paint because it brings me joy, I paint because it is me, I paint because I want to be seen, I paint because I can.
